3 Ways to Revive Your Hair for Spring

Dear Diary, 

With a new season of spring flowers and May showers ahead, it’s important to give your hair a little extra love with all of the time being spent outside. I don’t know about you, but my favorite thing to do when it gets warm is grab my kids and get outside! Personally, I could use a little extra TLC when it comes to my hair, especially when my schedule gets busier in the warmer months!

So, I’m sharing my top three ways you can keep your hair shining all spring long:

Hair Masks

This spring, we’re adding a little extra step to your routine with a hair mask! This is my number one secret for keeping my locks shiny and healthy in between my visits to the salon. Hair masks will help your damaged hair feel moisturized, full, and bouncy again in a matter of no time. It’s such a nice escape from reality for 20-30 minutes! Put in your hair mask, soak in the tub, and read a good book! Plus, you only need to do it a few times a month! Trust me, you and your hair will thank me later!

Clean Brushes

When was the last time you cleaned your brushes? If it’s been a while, don’t stress! However, it is important to take a little extra time to clean your brushes at least once a week. Why? Oils, dirt, and bacteria can build up in your brushes over time, and it’s important to keep your pretty hair free of anything that isn’t going to nourish it, especially when you are enjoying that spring sunshine! All you have to do is soak them in some warm water with shampoo for one to two minutes, clear out the hair, and pat dry. It’s as simple as that, and your hair will be so grateful you gave it the little extra love it needed this spring season.

Take Your Vitamins!

Now you may think that vitamins are just another way to get you to spend money, but the truth is, our bodies lack a LOT of vitamins that we can naturally obtain from our food, and biotin being one of them!
